I am excited to apply for the Graduate Engineer position at Industrus Engineering. As a Software Engineering (Honours) student at UTS, graduating in June 2025, with experience in software development and automation, I am eager to contribute to your innovative projects, like renewable energy storage and disaster recovery solutions, while growing through your structured 12-month program.

My freelance work since December 2024 reflects my dedication to ethical standards, delivering secure, reliable websites for small businesses with transparency. At WiseTech Global, I adhered to strict coding and confidentiality protocols, ensuring professional accountability in an agile environment.
3.2 Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both with other engineers and with stakeholders from different fields
As a Control4 programmer, I translated technical automation solutions for clients, while my UTS Capstone project required clear communication with university stakeholders and collaboration with peers to refine designs iteratively.

I developed custom Lua drivers for Control4 users to support new devices, showcasing creativity. At WiseTech, I built TypeScript tools to enhance workflows, proactively addressing team needs in a dynamic setting.

My Capstone project leveraged React and MongoDB, managing data effectively for deployment. At WiseTech, I used Git and CI/CD workflows to organise information, ensuring accuracy in fast-paced sprints.

Balancing a Distinction Average at UTS with freelance and internship commitments, I met deadlines, like delivering my Capstone under client supervision, demonstrating self-discipline and adaptability.
3.6 A demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to show leadership when required
At WiseTech, I contributed to team stand-ups and led a GraphQL tool’s development when needed. For my Capstone, I coordinated tasks among peers, ensuring alignment with our client’s goals.
